From The Aesop's Fables : The Lion & The Boar
One hot and thirsty summer day a lion and a boar came down to a little spring at the same time to drink. They started quarrelling as to who should drink first. The quarrel soon turned to a fight. The attacked one another fiercely. They stopped for a moment to catch their breath, and they saw some vultures seated on a rock above waiting for one of them to be killed , when they would fly down and feed upon the dead bodies. They immediately cooled down and made up their quarrel, saying 'We had much better be friends than fight and be eated by vultures.'
