From Aesops's Fables : The Dog & The Shadow

A dog was crossing a plank bridge over a stream with a piece of meat in his mouth, when he happened to see his own reflection in the water, He thought it was another dog with a piece of meat twice as big, so he let go his own meat, and he jumped at the other dog to get the bigger piece of meat. But of course he did not get any of the meat, for one was only a shadow and the other meat was carried away by the current.

Car Insurance

Did you know that car insurance is required by most states in the US, just like it is here in Singapore?

I don't drive, myself, but I always see my friend running about getting matters settled when it is time to settle her insurance when the time rolls around. It makes me glad I don't have to deal with it. I love taking public transportation lah!

I don't think public transportation is a real option for many Americans though. When I was there, I felt sort of stifled because I don't drive, and I had to rely on others to get me from place to place. I wonder if getting insurance settled is as big a hassle as it is for my friend?

Well, I know it doesn't have to be. In the US, it isn't hard to get your car insured online. A person could get their Connecticut Auto Insurance all settled online, and hassle free.
